Retrieve old text messages from old phone

I just upgraded to a new blackberry.  My old phone had some text messages that had contact and addresses.

 

The problem is that the old phone was ruined and I'm not able to get to the old text messages.

 

Is there any way, contacting verizon maybe, to get the old text messages that I had received?

If you can't get them off the phone then they're pretty much stuck on that phone. VzW cannot pull up any text content without a court order/subpoena but even then the network will only store messages for the last 3-5 days.
