I am an app developer and I create custom inventory apps using NFC tags which link up to database I designed.
I am having an issue getting root access to my Galaxy S6 and it seems to be that Verizon is the one preventing me from gaining access (all other carriers have ways to gain access and Samsung even released CRON Service to unlock the bootloader - which works for all phones except the Verizon one where it force closes).
This is very disheartening b/c I love my Galaxy S6 but this is interfering with my work and I have to keep going back to my deactivated phone for testing updates and client demos.
I am still within my return period and it looks like I will have to cancel my Verizon account and go with another carrier. Before I do is there any way for Verizon to root my phone (I've had this done at AT&T before with no questions asked) or is there a special way to get a Galaxy S6 dev phone?
Thank you
