Texting lag/calls not going through wait for a update/upgrade or just get a replacement?

I have texting issues since my latest 4.4.2 update. Sometimes the text wont go thought when I am sending/people are sending text to me. Same thing with phone calls. When I call people it will ring on my end but it wont ring on their phone. Same thing other way around as well. I have talked to the people @ Tier 2 & the text issue was fixed somewhat the first time. I talked to them again & it has been fixed but who knows for how long. I also have done hard resets. They are sending me a new phone but will it even be worth it or just wait it out till my upgrade/a newer update on the phone?

How far off is your upgrade date? You can Early Edge sometimes to one specific phone that Verizon promos, buy full price, buy used on Swappa or you can wait it out after the replacement comes and see what 5.0 L does for your handset.

Its not up till October. They put a order in for ne for a new ohkne but once I thought about it & called back to cancel. They said it already went out. So i will just sent it back to them when it comes. I would rather wait till the lp update to see how itn runs. Plus I dont want to deal wuth transfering all my contacts over again ugh.

Take the replacement, unless you have water or physical damage. Your contacts should be backed up to your Google account or Verizon Backup Assistant/cloud. No harm in starting fresh before the update, whenever that MIGHT be.

No water damage atball but I do have 2 scratches/ chips from when it fell of a chair from vibrating smh. Its backed up but everything sync for some reason for me. Contacts fb & twitter etc. So I will have over 2000 extra contacts lol.
