How do I get my device to sync with my car via bluetooth?

I just upgraded to the Galaxy 5 from a 3 and now it will not sync my bluetooth in my truck this rework perfect 5 contacts will not sync it all have to resend them every time how do I fix this

2012 santa fe and it is paired the addy book does not sync my S3 did perfectly I read on a on line foum that a lot of people are having same isue different cars???? also read that a new driver was in works so I waited to software update but didnt fix issue

yes it say it should work but I still cant get my contacts to upload I have it set to upload (Sync) but not working
