We want your screen to be able to light up the world. There are many reasons why the screen can become darker. Did anything change on your device around the time this happened? Any physical or water damage to the device?

Go to:
Settings>Display>Brightness
You can un-select "Automatic Brightness" if it's selected and then on the same screen drag the blue dot to the right to increase brightness.
