How can I prevent access to inappropriate websites on my grandson's device?

I am thinking of giving my 12 yr. grandson a Samsung 4S that is not being used by me.  How can I prevent him from getting to inappropriate/adult websites?  Will adding the Verizon parental safeguard feature do that?  I'm sure he will have the phone with him most of the time and not just at home.

EmilyMann, as a parent, I totally understand the importance of censoring your grandson's device. The Family Base feature will allow you to monitor his usage and set up restrictions for his access. For more details, click the link below:
