If I get a call, the phone hangs up when I reach for it in my pocket. The incoming call unlocks it and I reach to answer holding only the edges - but it hangs up on the caller every time.
We want to make sure you're able to answer your calls, jbb327. Since you mentioned holding the device by the edges, is it possible you are pressing one of the buttons on the side? Do you have a case on your device? It is possible that the material from your pockets can be affecting your touch screen when the call comes through.

No, I try to grip it by the edges so I don’t touch the screen – which I know will hang up the call. I don’t think I push any buttons. I had a case on it, but it was just too bulky.
I am now trying to face the screen outward to see if that helps. It just makes it more vulnerable to getting smashed on something. Thanks again for your response. -Joe
I'm having the same problem, among countless others that have rendered this phone unusable since the Lollipop update. You are not alone. Shame on Verizon for these lame answers. the fault is in the update, and it's time for them to acknowledge and do something about it.
We are not giving up, jbb327. When did this start? Any recent changes, downloads or software updates done to your phone? Is it possible that your jeans swipe the device to the left and rejects the call? Please keep us updated if you are still experiencing these issues.

Thanks JorgeO. I think it started when I took off the case (too bulky). I am trying to carry it with the screen facing out, but haven’t had many calls yet. It would be good if there were another way to answer than to swipe. Appreciate your note.
