touchscreen is unresponsive?

i just got my phone and i'm having trouble with the touchscreen. it was working fine with the lightest touch and yesterday afternoon, the touchscreen started acting funny. it takes 4 to 6 touches before it responds. i'm thinking i set something incorrectly without realizing it? i have already powered off and reset factory settings. thanks for your assistance.

I don't think you set anything incorrectly - there are plenty of folks experiencing issues with the S6 touchscreen, no fix for it yet by Samsung....

I am having the same problem and it's infuriating. Two months with this phone and horrible touch screen issues.
