Broke my Incredible, help!

I was going to get my Droid Incredible from Verizon and It was sold out until the 3rd of August and It was $530... I got one on Ebay for $320 brand new. It worked up until today, when the screen wonked out on me and now I am in trouble.

I heard from a sales rep that I can in fact send in my Incredible to have repaired through them, because it is a Verizon branded phone and was never activated previously.

My question is, has anybody actually done this or can assure me/clarify anything for me?

Actually, if it's a manufacturers defect ( meaning you didn't drop the phone or banged against the wall) you can probably go to a Verizon store and get a replacement, since the phone has been out for only like 3 months, it's gotta have warranty active. I'm pretty sure you will be able to exchange it because I was in the same situation and the guy at the store replaced it for me because it was still under warranty.

I would recommend asking the person that sold you the phone on ebay to check to see if the phone is still under warranty. If it is then go through warranty. Keep in mind also that if there is physical damage done to the phone or liquid damage then that does void warranty
