Verizon tries to send Support and Protection app every night until I shut down my Wi-Fi connection. The version I have on my phone is 15.xx Mb. I have no idea how large the update(?) is but I have let it run for over 8 hours without it finishing. Can anyone shed any light on the size of this update and whether I need it or not. If I turn off my Wi-Fi connection every night (which I am about to do), I will not receive any updates that require the Wi-Fi connection.
Another option I could try would be disabling the Support and Protection app that is currently running but that may work and I would have the update(?) installed and over the last two years I have been less that happy with updates/upgrades that have been automatically installed.
I am open to suggestions to this problem as long as I remain in control of my phone.
