Even in the imagined future phones, tools, lights and etc...were separate devices. Nimoy and other actors and TV series were certainly partially responsible for the technology we talk about here on a daily basis.

LOL. My ex husband had the Star tac phone, but we always called it the Star Trek phone, because of my fondness for all things Trek.
