s6 edge fails update - every time

I have been getting notices of a verizon update for my s6 edge for over a week now.

I accept and download the update and the phone restarts in order to apply it...

at which point, the phone boots into debug mod and the update completely fails.

this has happened 5 times now.

When is Verizon going to release an update which applies to the phone correctly?

(and no, my phone has not been rooted)

maybe backup everything important to you, and copy down critical settings, perform a Factory Data Reset, then download the update and install?

Have you gone into application manager and looked through All for something that says Samsung Updates or the likes and deleted it's cache and data? Clearing that could help with the download.

You may need to have your device swapped out. But first here are some suggestions:

Plug the device into your PC or Mac. This should prompt the Software Repair Assistant / Software Update Assistant install. This will load the new software onto your device via the cable
