When I try to take a picture I get a message asking me to insert a storage device. I have plenty of internal storage, why is this happening?

I have never had any trouble taking pictures now it is asking me to insert a storage device.

We know how important it is to be able to take pictures to save memories on your devices. Let's investigate. Did anything change on your device around the time this issues started? Did you ever have an SD card in your device before? Are you using the factory camera app or a 3rd party application?
