I have had my headset paired for months now it continually drops and reconnects to the headset.
Try deleting the connection, rebooting, then re-establishing a fresh connection.
How old is the headset? Is it possible it's just worn out?
Another question to get to the bottom of it would be: Have you had issues connecting and remaining connected to other bluetooth devices? If not, it's going to either point to there just being an issue with that particular headset/connection. If it's happening on multiple devices we would need to determine whether it's a hardware issue or a software issue. I look forward to seeing your response.
