Lock screen

This is getting to me more then all the other Lollipop mess ups.can you get rid of connect the dots to open the phone I just want to swype the phone and get in it not play a game

Settings -> Lock Screen -> Screen Lock

Choose the lock type you want if any

I go in there and all it shows me is connect the dots,i have no options

Yes that is true it is securing access to the menus hidden below, you have to enter the correct pattern then you can change the setting to something else, it is there to prevent someone from changing your lockscreen without knowing your existing lockscreen code/access method.
