Anyone else have this happen? Can I get it replaced?
Super simple to repair, if you have a small phillips screwdriver and about 30 seconds, the part is a couple dollars on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galaxy-Replacement-Port-Cover/dp/B00L4RYCMU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1423893640&sr=8-1&keywo…
and the repair video is here

If you're referring to the port cover on the Galaxy S5, I've read that they are available from Amazon.
I also saw this:
Re: S5 - little piece covering charging port & lack of customer service
Samsung wants me to send it in for repair and Verizon wants to send me a refurbished phone instead of just replacing the cover. They have them on eBay, but they make it out to be extremely hard to change them. There's an IFixIt store near me, they want $35 to change it. Has anyone changed one? Is it really that hard? I don't want to damage my phone.
It's not difficult if one has the correct tools and skills working in a very small space. However both Samsung and Verizon have stated it will void the warranty if not performed by their own repair people.
hope the link works okay, antique brain cell at max
no guarantees. possibly void warranty
Hapoened on my Samsung S5 last week. Not going to worry about it. My last phonecwas,an LG and there was no charging port cover. Mary
Just a warning...not having the cover severely compromises the phone's water resistance.
Also without cover in place a homeowner's insurance policy with rider will not cover water damage replacement. May be the same for Asurion's and Total protection Plan.
Only about 1½ months left on the warranty anyway. I'm a jetskier I need the water resistance.
