a factory reset, and a new sim card my phone will not make or receive calls. Any suggestions?
Are you able to send and receive text messages?
yes text messaging works
Check your network settings.
settings>more networks>mobile network>network mode and set it to global
If it's already set to global set it to lte/cdma
Then cycle airplane mode on for a minute and then turn it off
still unable to make recieve calls :smileysad:

When we try to call it does nothing. Then about 3 minutes later the number we tried to call rings showing a call from the phone but when it is answered no one is there. When we call the line from another phone it goes straight to voice mail.

What steps did you take for the factory reset?
They reset it at the Verizon store.
