When you used to send a picture from gallery it remembered your last method of delivery and now after lollipop you have to select the method every time from the share button. Is anyone else having the issue?

When you used to send a picture from gallery it remembered your last method of delivery and now after lollipop upgrade you have to select the method every time from the share button. Is anyone else having the issue? Can they look at adding the feature back please.

What if you wanted to choose a different method of delivery? You might use the same method each time, but someone else might not. It's one more tap to choose the method from the pop up list.

I understand that but it was never like that in the previous software. It was a time saver that we were used to for the last 2 years. Thanks for the response.

Updates are meant to improve your device karch1. I regret to learn of the difficulties you are experiencing after the update. When did you perform the update? I am not showing this is a known issue after the software update. When you select a picture from your Gallery and select share, did it go straight to text messaging? When you select a picture from your gallery now and want to share it, what exactly does it do?

Hello, in the past versions after you go back and select another picture right next to the share icon, it would have the last method of sharing you used so you could just click on that and go right back to messaging or whatever other method you used. This update now forces you to click on the share button every time and chose your method. Also, messaging is very slow and laggy. you try and type and it freezes and is very slow.

My understanding of this feature is that it tries to put your most-frequently-used sharing method on the quick shortcut button. Usually a few of them have pre-loaded priorities so that the one they think people are going to use the most is there by default. Probably what happened is on the upgrade it reset its count of how often you'd been using various sharing methods and started over with the preset priority list. It appears to have done that on mine as well (I now have Facebook on the quick shortcut where I used to have Send via Bluetooth because I usually copy pics to my laptop first). Hopefully after I've been using it for a week or so it'll figure out that I use bluetooth more frequently than Facebook and swap it back. I seem to recall it doing that back when I first got the phone.
