Can i play movies from my itunes library on my DROID? Also, if this is an option, what is a recommended app for this and will i need to convert the files?

OK, I have iTunes and about 50gigs of music and movies, TV, etc. How am I to know what will play on my Droid? I realize (kinda) what DRM means but the explanations given on the PDF wrt iTunes for Droid is more confusing than the question.
Can someone explain to an old veteran how to recognize which video content will play on my droid?
