Verizon Email Won't Sync

My Verizon email will no longer sync. I keep getting error messages that "attention required" and then it states Verizon account info is incorrect. I keep re-entering email address and password - but it doesn't work. Problem is only on the phone - lap and desktop get verizon email fine and all other POP3 accounts work.

We definitely want you to be able to get your email on your phone. I know how much I rely on mine. We just need to get a little more information from you:

What type of device do you have (make/model)? How long has this been going on? Has anything changed recently with either your phone (software updates or that) or your email account?

Ours stopped working on Tuesday, the support desk thought it was a Verizon.Net issue. I deleted the account and then built a new one using windows POP3 advanced settings. The Vz web site has email setup information, use the PC Outlook 2007 settings for the Windows Phone information. The wireless section of the tech page does not show settings for a windows phone.

I talk to them for 3 days, deleting my account and carrying it to best buy to get some software ran on it. I car Samsung who got my aol working like it sould but my Verizon comes after a while or not at all

My phone get hot then cool all day long. I thing there is a issue but they don't want to replace. Least than a year old

I got a s6, I am not happy with it, at least Samsung got it to sync with my watch again

We never want you to have a phone that gets hot and cold abnormally. Let’s look at options. Is there a pattern? Is it always on a charger when it’s hot? Please provide details.

We want to make sure we get these emails operational again, slscott. As an alternative, we recommend the My Fios app. It can be downloaded here : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.verizon.myfios . Fill us in on if your emails are coming through consistantly using this app.

I would like to see Verizon support IMAP for their email. That would solve a ton of issues for me.
