Have you tried *228, option 2 ? Hope this helps!
Has anyone else with these issues returned their phone and the new one been better? Ive tried *228 and even the the tech did sumn on their end and done it again and still the same, now its lookin like a back up and reload the software and try again. Just not wantin to send my phone back and be without for how ever long if its not necessary
They will go ahead and send you a phone, so you won't be without one. Just be sure to return the faulty one in a timely manner!
I had had a Blakberry 8830 for more than 2 years and began experiencing problems with droped calls a month ago when Verison switched their cell towers frequencies to accomidate Altel users. My signal drops off to nothing in an area where I never had a problem.
I began having dropped calls on my blackberry 8830 last month after 2 years of problem free service. I began when Verizon switched their cell tower frequencies to accommodate Altel customers. It is a big problem. They don't have a solution.
make sure your network is set to 1evx not global as it comes out of the box then do a *228 option two
yea ive tried setting that too and the *228 option, but nothing changes. Im now on my 2nd tour and the same thing. Verizon wants me to try a diff model blackberry because they say diff phones pick up diff signals from towers or some **bleep**. I think its all in the alltel switchover, thats where im havin all the trouble is in alltel areas still
