Have a message at top of BB Curve that says I have 1 message

Have a 1 next to an envelope on the right top of my BB Curve. But there are no messages. I have looked in every folder and there is nothing. If I roll my track ball over my two mail profiles one of them also shows a 1 next to it, all folders are empty not even a saved read message....... HELP!!!!!

Go into your messages and check to see if any are still
bolded (unread)
. If there is a message like that open it and then close it. This should fix the problem. Hope this helps.

No messages to check as I indicated in post... Have deleted everything thinking that might be problem.

Have you checked the msg folder as well? Not your email folders, but your general message folder that holds everything from missed calls, to texts and email from the other folders.

Yes I did. Took it to Verizon they re-installed new firmware and its gone.
