My contacts all disappeared. I need to bring them back but don't know how, and the manual etc. is useless.
Were the contacts backed up using Verizon cloud? Google? You should be able to log in to whatever service you used to back them up, and restore them.
If you recently switched phones, provide us with a few more details (previous phone, back up used) and we can try to help get your contacts back.
