There is a new Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Lollipop 5.0.1 update available via Kies. Build N910VVRU2BOF1. OTA should be soon as well. This is a 2gb download.
not shure if u ment 5.1 but if u didn't we have had 5.0.1 for a few months now on the note 4
This is a second update of Android 5.0.1, the first came in April, the build date of this new Android 5.0.1 update is from June 16th and should still be available via Kies.
its not I just tried it and thanks to this post I am now the same Verizon with a factory reset phone
How and or why did you factory reset your phone? I am running the new firmware OF1 just fine on my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 4. They tweaked the recents menu ui, it is now truly instantaneous! Used to take 3 seconds or so sometimes. Looks like it was pulled from Kies either late last night or this morning. I got it via sammobile.

Got the OTA and phone does seem a bit snappier, apps opening faster...hope this will lead into 5.1.1 update...
something i noticed within the update as well was the 'Galaxy Essentials' app is no longer showing in the app drawer--this is before the security update my note 4 is now showing and after i did my first 5.0.1 update on 7.18.15. Instead, 'galaxy essentials' is now reached by selecting apps>menu>galaxy essentials...
yeah, i dont use it much, but it does sometimes come in handy

After last security update my buttons dont light up any more they work but dont show when screen is on.
pretty sure the new update was for the stagefright bug, Which is still vulnerable even after update.
@ creator: My phone did that (touch sense keys stopped lighting) after my
very first update around March. I also had trouble with my screen rotating.
I ended up having to factory reset twice! I hope you don't have to do that,
but I admit it hasn't happened since! Hook it up to your VZW/Samsung
software manager and you should be fine. Apologies.
The only issue I have is from the 5.0.1 update is the constant wifi scanning even though I turned that off.
Thanks for info, phone works fine and they still work no problem just dont light up but will hook it up and see whats going on with it....
