"Visual Voice Mail" note is blocking notification of voicemails!

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the Visual Voice Mail Terms and Conditions" note that keeps showing up as it seems to be blocking the device from giving me INDICATION of a voice mail??? I have declined the service each time it comes up but still I am missing calls because the VM icon doesn't pop up in notification panel.

We are here to help. Do you know if you have Visual Voice Mail as a added feature on your account? If you do then you need to accept the Terms & Conditions. Is this for a new activation? How long has this been going on?

No i am not subscibed to Visual voice mail, nevrr have. I assume it came with th s6 i bought recently I checkedf the call notifications which are set to show the icon but when i open it yhe dam visual pops up i decline and away goes the notification.

For one thing, don't use the Voicemail application to access the basic voicemail. The application is only for the Visual Voicemail either the basic version or the premium.

To access the basic voicemail, dial *86 or long press the "1" key on the phone dialer. In the basic voicemail system navigate through the settings to verify that notifications for new voicemails on are.

If you never want to use Visual Voicemail (either version), you can block that feature on your line. I know it can be added by calling customer service at 1-800-922-0204 from a landline or *611 from your phone. I'm not sure if you can add it yourself through the change features options in your MyVerizon account online. I do know once the block is active, you can see it listed in your MyVerizon account online as I have that same block on my line.
