How do I remove the PIN lock from my device?

I was trying to learn more about the features on my Samsung S4 and how to use them. I put the PIN number in to try it but I can't turn that feature off and switch back to "swype". Now I have to put the PIN number in in order to unlock my phone every time. It's very annoying to say the least!

Try this:  Settings ---> More--->Security-->Clear Credentials

Then try again. Or change the security type for lock screen.
