Do Friends and Family messages count as M2M messages?

I have the 500 text and picture messaging plan (free messages to all verizon people and 500 additional ones) and was wondering if the numbers in my Friends and Family group count as mobile to mobile messages when I text them. I don't know if Verizon does this, but as a former Alltel customer, I remember Alltel counted all MyCircle members as mobile to mobile for texting and calls.

No, Friends & Family does not apply to messaging, only voice/airtime.

Agreed, but that's the way it works. Voice only for F&F. For those of us on Select or higher, it's a non-issue, but it would be nice if those #'s were included in messaging as well. Half the #'s we have in F&F are landlines, so texting them is not an option. And the other cell #'s are NOT free for the called party - they still get charged minutes so the REAL benefit is when you put landlines on, and the minutes are free for you to call.

Agreed.....good ole Alltel MyCircle had this covered. Love how others try to copy a plan and tweak it to screw customer.
