The finger print scanner worked well for the first 4 month, became very erratic and now no longer seems to work. I tried removing the finger prints and re-saving them but it does not seem to make a difference. Suggestions?
I can understand needing to have all the features work the correct way with your Samsung Galaxy S6 device, velomark. When you try to use the finger print scanner, do you ever get an error message? Was there any changes to the device when you started to have troubles (software updates or 3rd party applications)? Please keep us posted. No I m not aware of any particular update or app installed that I would associate with this issue. I don't have that many apps installed, just the usual variety that most users have on their smart phone. The finger print scanner was always very finicky but has definitely gotten worse (no longer works). I have a iPhone at work and also a Nexus 6p and don't have any issues with their fingerprint scanner regardless of the number of apps installed.
I tried sipping the phone and starting over but within a day the finger print scanner was very erratic and soon non-functional.
Suggestions?

Sorry, I meant wipping the phone (hard reset). No issues with other applications.
