Galaxy S6 doesn't allow talk and surf at the same time...is there a setting that needs to be changed?

I recently upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy S4 to the S6 and much to my surprise discovered I can no longer talk and surf at the same time.  This is beyond disturbing.  Now I can no longer use my GPS, look up emails, etc. while on a call.  This is truly not acceptable.  Does anyone know if there is a setting that needs to be switched to fix this issue?  Thanks.

Have you tried to enable advanced calling? settings>advanced calling, from there if you have 4G service you should be able to talk and surf. Hopefully...
