Backup assistant plus gives me an error every night. It says lost network connection. It's set on wi-fi, after the error it disconnects my wi-fi and goes to 4g.
Every night, same error!! Very annoying !!!!
After last update it is no longer compatible with these phones & we must move to the cloud. Even if you move to cloud you may still have issues with BAP.
Keithndi, We certainly don't want to hear you are experiencing connection issues every night. This is something that needs to be fixed right away. When did this start? Does everything else work on the phone? What make/mode is your phone?

I have the Samsung S4, I was reading other peoples problems and it looks like it started with the last software update a few weeks ago. This seems about the time my problem started. I may have not noticed right away.
I'm having no other problems with my phone.

Same exact issue with me on my Galaxy Note 3.I get the same error. I tried clearing my cache and now when I open Backup Assistant Plus, it is Verizon Cloud that is trying to gain access to my contacts.I have resisted using Verizon Cloud because I fear that some of my personal data might be uploaded to the "cloud".All I want is my Backup Assistant Plus to continue doing its job.
Has Backup Assistant Plus been discontinued in favor of the Verizon Cloud application?

A few weeks ago I began receiving an error message every morning that said backup had failed, and that backup assistant plus had lost network connection. I have it set to automatically backup my contacts at 4 AM every morning.

With the last update pushed out in late August, Backup Assistant Plus is no longer compatible with our phone - the Note 3.
I was also getting the lost network connection error every nite but found an entry where the fix was to remove the check mark in the back up contacts in the app. I did that but now I get a validation error every night.
Also when I go in to list apps, Backup Assistant + is no where to be found so the only time I can get into it is when the error pops up. I have no options to disable it, my only options are the check box to backup contacts and to schedule it. I absolutely refuse to do a system reset - to much data to backup and reset up. This is driving me crazy.
