Why did my camera stop? I don't drop my phone and I don't let kids play with it so how did the camera break? It worked just fine until mid May. And then just stopped. The screen camera works so I can take those but the regular back camera doesn't work at all!
Have you tried a different app? That can help rule out software vs hardware issues.

Yes, every piece of hardware is controlled by software. The camera hardware is instructed by the software and in this case the software is an app which you interact with to tell the camera what to do.
I downloaded Google camera and it said it can't connect to the camera.
Should I try a different app? Any recommendations...?
