BB Desktop Manager

When I try to install BBDesktop Manager it fails and I get an error message. The message is:

InstallShield Wizard Completed

The wizard was interrupted before BlackBerry Desktop Software could be completely installed.
our system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again.

Click finish to exit the wizard.

I use windows 7 with a 64 bit system. Can anyone help me fix this?

I've never tried windows 7 but I did have that issue once, I downloaded the install file again and it worked. Apparently I had some sort of error while downloading the install. I would suggest you try that.

The next time that you run setup, you might want to run it as administrator. Instead of doing a left doubleclick on the setup application, right click it and select run as administrator in the drop down box.

You might have to install as super admin if you are already an admin on that computer. You can do that by holding down the shift key and at the same time right click on the install file. Choose the "run as" admin option from there.
