missing apps after safemode

so i went into safemode to try to figure out why my phone is lagging after the update 5.1.1 and now i find after returning into normal mode apps are missing but yet they are still installed just the app drawer is missing them.. its like a hybrid safemode... cuz the same apps were hidden in safemode..

anyone have this problem or know a fix...

Let's see where those apps are hiding, BrianDivaCox. Is it all or some of your downloaded apps that are gone? Click on the Apps icon, then click on Edit in the top corner to see if any of them show up this way. When you went to the Application Manager to see the apps that are missing, did you get any options to Enable/Disable them? If those apps are still not showing up, delete one (via either App Manager or Play Store) then reinstall it. Will it show up normally now? Keep us posted.

yah they were all there just not showing in the app drawer or home screens.. so there was too many to reinstall and remember what was there.. so i just did a factory reset with the vzw upgrade assistant tool.. Software Update Software Upgrade Assistant (Samsung) | Verizon Wireless
