Error 97 SMS

I've been completely fine using SMS up until today when I tried to reply to a message and got the "SMS Error 97 Service Denied"

I can't figure it out for the life of me. Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem arise on my blackberry after 3 months of working perfectly. The trouble is a setting on the account. It appears someone at my corporate office brilliantly cut off text messaging without telling me. Have the Verizon rep check the status of your text messaging on your account and get it reinstated if necessary. That solved my issue.
