Carrier: Verizon
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S6
Problem:
My lock screen turns off after only 2 seconds, not giving me enough time to check notifications and unlock my phone. The lock screen time out is far too short. The internets seems to think that this goes as far back as the S3 which makes this far more troubling.
Desired solution:
Seriously, just make the lock screen timeout universal and set it to 5-10 seconds. Customization here would be appreciated.
Work arounds:
- Turning off power saving increases the delay by several seconds, but also turns off power saving which is a pretty big deal if it's on in the first place.
- Turn on Smart Stay (Settings > Device > Display and wallpaper > Smart stay), but I really don't like this feature and refuse to it.
