The notification bar disappears and when it comes back there should be a new notification but there isn't. It does this every few seconds and its killing my battery. How do I stop this?
That was my issue. There were 19 apps that were trying to update and they weren't doing anything. There were blue lines on all of them and they were stuck. Thank you for your help!!
This is very strange behavior, eddiesmom1250. We want to make sure nothing is disappearing on your device. Are you referring to the notification bar across the top of the screen on your phone? How long has this been going on? Have there been any changes to your phone prior to this starting?

I am referring to the notification at the top of the screen. I have noticed before that it appears the bar will roll up so that a notification can come in. But now, it does this constantly and no notification ever shows up. I don't recall making any changes before this started, but I also don't know how long it's been going on. I do know that all of the sudden, the battery would die overnight even though it was fully charged before retiring for the night. It acts like there is something going on in the background, but I have no idea what nor do I know how to fix it.
This is definitely interesting. Let's dig deeper into this. When did this start? Has there been any changes to the device such as software updates?AnthonyM_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupportIf my response answered your question please click the Correct Answer button under my response. There are updates all the time. I don't know if it started after I loaded lollipop. I do know that after that it gets incredibly hot. Not down where the battery is but up at the top of the phone. I don't remember when it started. A few weeks ago I would estimate.
