Windows Mobile App Petition for Automatic: Car Diagnostics

Automatic is a small device that plugs into your car's OBD port and diagnoses engine codes, as well as track various statistics and trip information.

I received this item as a gift only to find that the associated app is not available on the windows store. The company seems very transparent in the fact that they would love to support windows devices, but they simply do not have the resources to devote to a platform with so little market share. The CEO, Marketing manager, and chief engineer have all chimed in on this in multiple forum topics on their site. In fact, their customer service department sent me the petition link themselves.

As a community, it is up to Windows Phone users to take actions like this in order to help close the app gap!

If anyone else has a petition similar to this for any app they would like to see supported, I encourage you to post a link in this thread and I will certainly sign.

As Windows phone customers you should be requesting the company to add support. Companies tend not to make something if they don't know if there is a need for it.

If they make this a Windows 10 Universal app, it'll work on any Windows 10 device. Yes, I know you're asking for WP8, but I think having them go UWA is the best option moving forward.

So this company wants you to petition someone else to make an app to be able to use their product???

Isn't it the manufacturer's responsibility to get people using their product???? I can't think of many successful companies who rely on other companies for their products to be useful.

"Here's our product. Unfortunately, you may not be able to use it UNLESS you can talk some other company into making software for you to use it."

Doesn't sound like much of a business model.
