Is the droid worth it?

Hello. Right now I have the env2, and am considering upgrading, because I want a phone that can go beyond the basics as far as cell phones are concerned. I saw a commercial for the droid, and it looked great. What didn't look great though was the $30 a month extra on the smartphone plan. My question to all of you droid owners is this: Is the droid really worth the extra money, or should I just go with the env3, or chocolate touch? Thanks!

That honestly depends on what your needs are, and if your phone or the Droid can fufill them. I use Android not because I'm a fan for it, or because I think it's better than anything -- I use it because it caters to what I need it to.

 

The question is not whether if the Droid is worth it, the question is: Does and will the Droid cater to my needs as a smartphone user?
