My emails did not work as when I updated the phone it created another account for me and I had to call Verizon to get this fixed.

Can reply to emails, but not compose= possible solutions have tech support send service books to phone &

From main screen on Storm> go to Settings>Email Settings>Press Menu (dots)> a small screen pops up> click Service Books> another page opens up. Go from there

Calendar events missing= restore with backup

Email icon missing= found as a hidden icon

Not able to install BB App World "Uncaught exception: Missing resource net.rim.device.apps.internal.appstore.resource.BlackBerryAppStore"= resend your service books and then pull your battery to restart your device…. To resend your service book, on your device, go to Email Settings and open it. You will then press the Menu Key and select Service Books. Then you will see the option to Send Service Book.

If you have the premium version you paid for, you may have to go to their website via your computer and download the file again. Which ever version you have, keep a copy of the alx and code file on your computer for backup purposes. = documents to go appears to be for version 4.7 os = DocsTo Go is hidden. Go to the application menu and press the menu key. Select Show All and it should appear. = was not there but the program is working with the incorrect icon.

I cannot establish a connection to the internet = Go to Email Settings. Press the Menu key and press Service Books. Then select to Send Service Books.

Quickpull Lite (the free version) does not work even after battery pulls and downloading it again at least it is on the home screen

Here is an obscure one.

The new Word Completion feature was driving me crazy so I went into Options, Spell Check, and checked the Auto Correction item and saved. Now the Word Completion was gone and the phone was back to doing auto correction just like it did before 5.0. Once I palyed for a while, I figured I would try the Word Completion again, so I went into Options, Spell Check and unchecked the Auto Correction item and saved. Unfortunately the Word Completion did not come back on, and now I had no correction. After much searching, and research, I realized that when you set the Auto Correction on through the Spell Checker option, it sets the Input Style in the Language and Text Input options to Auto Correction and does not set it back to Word Completion when you uncheck the Auto Correction in the Spell Check options.

I have not noticed this on here yet; those of you with blackberry wallet issues an updated version has been placed on the Blackberry website. Here is the link; http://na.blackberry.com/eng/devices/features/browser/wallet.jsp? I downloaded it and it has been working fine on my Storm 1 with the 5.0 update. I did have to re-enter all of my information again, although it does tell you how to restore this information, I just couldn't get that part to work. Good luck.

Once Blackberry Appworld said BB messenger was installed and I rebooted, It didn't show up as a listed application. I then forced a re-download and install from http://www.blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger and now BB messenger shows up and works!!!!

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem?. When I am browsing on my storm an a page finishes loading the page will start reloading on its own an loads to a blank page. Any ideas? Thanx for your time.

Can you view anything on the browser other then a blank page? Or is it specific pages?

If it's the whole web then try updating service books:

Go to Email Settings. Press the Menu key and press Service Books. Then select to Send Service Books.

Anyone else got an idea for djinndragon?

Yes me too. Your solution really did help so much. No more all the words appearing across the top of where I was typing. What a relief. Thanks for pointing that out.

VZ manager doesn't recognize my phone as a modem.

Two options for this issue have been reported:

1. New OS doesn't seem to work with vzaccess manager v7. I uninstalled an reinstalled from the disk that was provided with the phone, vzaccess manger v6.

2. Install the latest Blackberry Desktop Manager service pack SP1 found here. Then try using VZAccess Manager.

is there anyone else having issues with Apps like facebook i reinstall it and from the icon link, and after it disapears and then there no way to access the app but it says its installed and shows up under options>apps ..it shows it but theres no way to use it ..

anyone got any ideas i tried everything looked everywere in my folders did show all too rebooted it after i installed ...

ALSO try this first:

RIM Storm 1 Maintenance Release 3 (MR3) Software Upgrade Information (VZAM):

*VZAM does not work after the upgrade. The work around is to setup DUN (dial up networking) on Windows. Refer to the following BlackBerry Knowledge Base article or the steps below:
