How do I find my lost Samsung S5 using google maps
It would have needed to be a feature you turned on when you set up your phone.
I recently did a factory reset and signed up with Samsung Essentials or...just a Samsung Account.
Go to:
www.samsung.com/us/support/account/
Log in and see if you activated the "find my phone" feature.
Losing your device is never a fun thing to have to go through. With any Android device, as long you know your Gmail acount info, you can log into the Android Device Manager: https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager Here you are able to locate your device and/or at least lock it so it can not be used. Keep in mind when trying to locate a device, if it is powered off locators will not work.
