What is the best way for me to text 30 - 50 family and friends at the same time?

I think you can only send to 10 recipients at once....

Put the ones you want to text in a group, and send a text to the group.

You can send a text from your e-mail to cell phone. With verizon it's yournumber@vtext.com and I send to a friends AT&T cell all the time from my e-mail and hers is 10digitnumber@mms.att.net . Here is a site with some provider extensions.

Be careful though if you do this on AOL all at once sending that many they will take it as you spamming and shut you down and you will have to call security at AOL and explain what you are doing to get back up and running. Learned this the hard way sending out a mass e-mail to family and friends about something. Mary
