Why is the camera grinding in my S6?

Ive had my phone in an otterbox/lifeproof sense day one, never dropped it in the few months ive had it. I had the S3 for two years and never had a problem. Starting around 4am I notices that when I had opened the camera app the thing was jiggling around and making sounds.. doesnt do it all the time but has done it about 50% of the time I testes it.. looked it up and its been happening sense launch.. what can I do to fix this problem painlessly.. really not looking forward to a "refurb" when the things not even 6 months old.. if its a known problem shouldnt it be under samsungs warrenty or something? Id love any answer or if anyone else has had a problem like this id love to know what you did. Thanks in advance.

If the phone is less than 12 months old and it's having an internal issue not caused by abuse, it should be covered under the manufactures warranty. You may or may not be without a phone while they fix it, you can contact Verizon directly or go into a store to get things started.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is an awesome device and I regret to learn of the difficulites you have been experiencing with your new phone jakebb. When did issues with the camera start? Just to clarify, when you open the camera app, the phone starts making a griding noise and the screen starts to jump around? Did you recently make any changes to the phone such as downloading new apps or new software?
