Screen split, anyone else have this problem?

I upgraded to the s6 in june, no complaints what so ever till my screen (glass) just freakin split from top to bottom.. i've never dropped it, never sat out in the sun, over heated, NOTHING.. I laid the phone down on its back (mind you it has a case on it) few minutes later I pick it back up and there's that lovely split.. so had anyone had any issues with the screen being total crap or did I just get a faulty phone
