Why is it not that when i try to send a picture through text it comes up with fail?

Please check that 1) MMS is enabled: Go to Main Menu, Settings, Advanced Settings. Check both boxes in ‘Multimedia Message (MMS) settings’; 2) You are ‘subscribed’ to Integrated Messaging (Main Menu>Settings- Integrated Messaging). You’ll see ‘unsubscribe’ if you are. Please subscribe if you are not.
