suddenly my S6 can't connect to my email server...help.

I was using the white email icon with the red @ ..... when it stopped syncing to my yahoo mail server 3 days ago, I downloaded the Yahoo App and have been using that to access my yahoo account.
I tried resetting the email sync schedule for the original email but it still doesn't sync at all.My Yahoo app works perfectly.

I'm happy to hear that you have found a great work around with getting your Yahoo E-Mails, reedfree. With the original e-mail application that is not syncing, have you been able to remove that e-mail address from the device and try to re-add it to the phone?
Remove Personal Email Account:
1.From a Home screen, tap Apps Apps icon (located in the lower right). Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only. 2.Tap Settings. 3.Tap Accounts. 4.Tap Email. 5.Tap the appropriate account (if more than one). 6.Tap More (located in the upper right). 7.Tap Remove account. 8.Tap Remove account to confirm.
Add Personal Email Account:
1.From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Settings > Accounts. 2.Tap Add account. 3.Tap Email then tap the account type. 4.Enter the Email address then tap NEXT.Note Depending upon the email account type, the available options may vary 5.Enter the Password then tap NEXT. 6.Enter the appropriate info (e.g., Username, Password,Security type, etc.) then tap NEXT. 7.Enter the appropriate info (e.g., SMTP server, Port, Security type, etc.) then tap NEXT. 8.Configure Account options as appropriate then tap NEXT. 9.Enter an account name if desired then tap NEXT.Note If presented, ensure ensure a name is entered for outgoing messages
