I am interested in upgrading to a Blackberry that is capable of using a rangefinder app from Golflogix. Which devices are permitted to have this app downloaded?

According to the website, it's available for the BB Curve 8330 &  BB Tour on Verizon but the BB Curve on Vz does not support 3rd party GPS apps. It will be coming out for the BB Storm soon. Your best bet is the Tour. You can download a trial for free.
