Camera only has 3 Modes - none will zoom

Just got an S5. The camera only has Auto, Beauty Face and Panorama modes. None will zoom, and the only other funtion for adjustment is the flash (On/Off/Auto). Reaidng other literature there should e a 'Settings' button on the camera.... NOPE!
Thanks for any help. Else I will go into local store when I can.

It seems like you are in "Easy Mode"...go into setting and change it to "Standard Mode"...."Easy Settings"> "More Settings" > "Easy Mode"

Often you have to swipe up or from the side to either zoom or access the camera settings. Have you tried that?

Nodonutz, using zoom to get the perfect shot helps ensure that amazing memory. Let's ensure that you can zoom when needed. On this particular phone, the settings or gear icon would be to the top left of the camera screen when you open it. If you are not seeing this, please swipe the screen. Also, when set up, the phone may have been set for Volume Zoome. When in the camera, tap the volume up key to zoom in or the volume down to zoom out.

Yup... nothing happens. Once I touch the screen, whether a swipe of a tap it 'focuses' (focus icon shows) and then it takes a pic.

There is no 'gear' icon for settings anywhere. When I hit the volume button it snaps a pic.

Nodonuts, are you using the stock camera that came installed on the phone or a camera application? If so, please drag down the status bar and tap the Settings icon on the top. Find the Easy Mode icon and tap it. Select the "Standard Mode" option and tap or down drag the status bar to complete. Now, if you go back to your camera you will see that you have that settings wheel.
