Tour says radio is off.?

Just switched to verizon and programmed my phone, was able to send 1 txt and now the phone is saying the radio is turned off. I've checked the bedside mode and in the options menu where you turn it on. Is it doing this due to the porting of my old number?

Under the vzw faq it said i should be able to make calls on my new phone.

Have you gone to the connections icon on the home screen and tried to turn it back on???

If your phone has the bedside mode enabled, then, if I am not mistaken, the default setting from the factory, is for the device to disconnect the radio reception to keep any phone or data from waking you up. You can change this option by going to the Clock and clicking. Then press menu and see if you are in bedside mode. If so, go down to options under Exit beside mode. Scroll down to Bedside Mode and Disable Radio select NO. This will allow you phone to still receive calls and data while you are in the bedside mode. Try to remember to exit bedside mode after you wake up. This is probably the problem.
