Real simple yes or no question for the Verizon reps that monitor this board.
Is Verizon going to get a flagship Windows 10 phone either this year or in 2016? Please give a straight answer, none of the corporate-scripted canned spam as shown below that seem to get posted whenever someone asks a specific question:
"Verizon Wireless Customer Support wrote:
We never want you to consider a move from our wireless family. We have great devices available, see all options online at vzw.com/Smartphones
What specific features attract you on that particular phone? We may have phones with the same features. Keep in mind that a phone is only as good as the network behind it."
Sorry, that IS NOT an answer to a question, that is a sales pitch that completely side-stepped the question.
There are people who DON"T want an Apple, DON'T want an Android, no matter what "specific features" a Apple/Android phone may or may not have.
There are people, especially business people, that want a flagship Windows 10 phone to integrate with the rest of their corporate ecosystem. What you have for Windows phones are fair to middle range phones at best, that are crippled by sub-par processors/RAM/displays and storage.
If VZW isn't going to bring any flagship Windows 10 phones to the market, just say so. Trying to push people to the whole Apple/Android duopoly just shows that VZW doesn't care what the customer wants/thinks as long as they make a sale.
A happy customer that comes back for more business and brings along other potential customers is a lot more valuable that an upset customer that bad-mouths the company due to it's business practices.
That is basic business 101, something VZW seems to have forgotten.
