How do I answer a call that is restricted?

Sometimes an incoming call is designated "Restricted". At first I thought it was due to a setting in the phone. However, person at Verizon Store said that was due to a network issue and not due to a phone setting so there is nothing I can do to prevent it. However, when that happens I have not figured out a way to accept the call. This happened today when I called my wife my call was "Restricted" on her phone and when she called me the same thing happened. If there were some way to workaround the "Restricted" and answer the call it would be a minor annoyance. As it is it makes the phones useless.

Sounds like your account has your lines setup to block your phone number from being displayed on the phones you call.

You should be able to answer a "restricted" call just like a regular call. The restricted is only preventing the phone number from being shown on the handset.
